Elevra is not a “quick shingle swap” company. We specialize in building complete roof systems designed for Vancouver Island’s coastal climate — heavy rain, high moisture, wind exposure, moss pressure, and long-term ventilation concerns.
With more than 11 years of roofing and restoration experience, including work in extreme weather regions such as Florida and the northeastern United States, Elevra brings a deeper understanding of how roof systems fail — and how they should be built to last.
“We build roof systems, not just roofs that look new.”
HAAG certification is the gold standard in forensic roof inspection and storm damage assessment — recognized by insurance carriers across North America. Elevra has two HAAG-certified professionals on staff, a rare distinction on Vancouver Island.
Erick Kline, our Chief Operations officer, has nearly 20 years of insurance supplement experience. He reviews every insurance estimate for missing items and advocates for full restoration — ensuring you receive every dollar you're entitled to.
Experience across Florida, the northeastern US, and coastal BC — including thousands of insurance restoration projects — means we understand how storm damage affects roofs and how to document and restore them properly.
Every inspection includes systematic photo documentation that meets insurance carrier standards. Our HAAG-certified reports are thorough, credible, and written to support your claim.
No surprises. Every project includes a detailed written estimate, scope, materials list, and payment structure.
Every Elevra installation is backed by our 2-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty plus applicable manufacturer coverage.

We believe homeowners deserve honest answers. Here are the questions we hear most often — answered straight.
Elevra builds a complete roofing system, not just a shingle covering. Our estimates include proper water protection, synthetic underlayment, drip edge, starter strips, flashing details, ventilation planning, cleanup, documentation, and professional oversight. A cheaper roof can become much more expensive if critical system components are skipped.
If a proper repair makes sense, we will say so. Elevra’s inspection-first approach is designed to give honest guidance. However, when a roof is near the end of its life, widespread patching can become a short-term bandage on a larger system failure.
Elevra has insurance inspection and restoration experience and can help document roof conditions clearly. We do not decide claim coverage — that is the insurance company’s role — but we can provide professional documentation and explain what damage may be relevant to discuss with your carrier.
No. Elevra does not recommend or offer roof overlays. Installing over old shingles can hide rot, trap moisture, add unnecessary weight, and prevent proper inspection of the roof deck. A proper roof system starts with a full tear-off and deck inspection.
Many standard residential roof replacements can be completed in one to three days, depending on roof size, complexity, weather, and decking condition.
Any rotten or compromised decking should be replaced before the new roof system is installed. Elevra documents these areas and explains the repair clearly so the homeowner understands why the replacement is necessary.
Every Elevra roof is built with system-based installation standards, premium materials, and our 2-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty.
